BitMEX is closing as an active exchange

BitMEX is winding down its exchange and no longer accepts new customers. This review has therefore been archived, and BitMEX is no longer included in our active rankings, comparisons or recommendations.

BitMEX goes reduce-only on 26 August 2026 and pays out until 23 September; after that it charges the higher of $50 or 1% a year on whatever is left. The full timetable is on our closed exchanges page.
